Refund policy
Momma Bear Boutique will happily accept returns on new product that is still in new condition for 60 days from order. Reimbursement eligibility for returns is as follows:
- Payment refund is eligible for returns 7 days from receipt
- Refund in store credit is eligible for returns up to 60 days from order
New in the context of product return means unwashed, unscented, and unworn - evidence that product has been used for an event, photoshoot, washed, Febrezed, etc., will mean product is not in new condition, as is product that smells like smoke, dogs/cats, etc. or has animal or people hair on it. Please be courteous and honest regarding condition of clothing.
Product that is not in new condition will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Damaged product must be reported to us immediately. It is the customer's responsibility to inspect product for damage as soon as it arrives! In the event of product damaged on arrival, you must also retain the shipping packaging and be prepared to supply this to either us or the shipping carrier - shipping claims for damage will always require proof that the receiver and/or opener of the packaging did not cut or tear the product with scissors or other sharp objects when they opened the package. This is why retaining the shipping packaging is critical, and not having it may mean a lost shipping claim.
Customer is responsible for return shipping fees, and may elect to either ship the item back through a carrier and method of their choice, or may request a shipping label and have to ship costs and have the costs of that shipment deducted from any refund granted.
If your order was shipped to you using a free shipping service, and the return is not due to a defect in the product, those free shipping fees will be deducted from the return refund as well as any return shipping fees.
Once a return is approved, customers have 7 days in which to drop items to be returned to the return shipping carrier. Returns that are not shipped by this period of time are not eligible for refund.
